The role involves form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; refuel the machine and record running hours. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Rotating shifts.
