Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Rockwall County, Texas. You will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher We offer $27 per hour plus benefits.
