Join our team: plant operator (Massachusetts)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Worcester County, Massachusetts. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. On the job you will handle: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
