Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Linn County, Oregon. You will be based on a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Day-to-day duties: • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
