Urgent requirement: pastry baker (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Bastrop County, Texas. The job is at a busy bakery. Day to day you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
