Mechanical press operator wanted in Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Johnson County, Iowa. The job is at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses On a typical shift you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely.
