Urgent requirement: laundry presser (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Mesa County, Colorado. The job is at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day-to-day duties: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
