Pastry baker — Hocking County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Hocking County, Ohio. The job is in a bread factory. Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
