Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Jefferson County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing 1+ years on the tools preferred.
