You should have: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) On a typical shift you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; refuel the machine and record running hours; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil.
