Now hiring: we are hiring a horticulturist in Jere, Borno State. The job is in a residential garden complex. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers The role involves: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Part-time with flexible hours.
