Port container crane operator • Gwarzo, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Gwarzo, Kano State. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work Rotating shifts.
