Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths The role involves season and marinate meat on request; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain.
