Garden maintenance worker • Addison County, Vermont

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Addison County, Vermont. You will be based at a private estate garden. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
