Excavator operator • Providence County, Rhode Island

Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Providence County, Rhode Island. You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers 6+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
