Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Awe, Nasarawa State. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
