Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Henderson County, Texas. The job is in a residential garden complex. The role involves: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
