The role involves: • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
