Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Saint Clair County, Illinois. The job is in a tool room. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Meals and transport allowance provided.
