Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Champaign County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels What we are looking for: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
