Garden maintenance worker — Yakima County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Yakima County, Washington. You will be based in a public park. You will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
