Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Jefferson County, Ohio. The job is at a plant nursery. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish On the job you will handle: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
