Hand presser wanted in Douglas County

Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Douglas County, Nebraska. You will be based in a busy laundry. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
