Immediate opening: crane operator (Ondo State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Akure North, Ondo State. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day-to-day duties: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports 2+ years on the tools preferred.
