Site carpenter wanted in Meriwether County

Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Meriwether County, Georgia. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
