Short order cook — Somervell County

Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in Somervell County, Texas. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Your main tasks: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat 2+ years on the tools preferred.
