Wood machinist — Shinkafi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Shinkafi, Zamfara State. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. The role involves: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
