Great opportunity: foundry operative (Niger State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Rafi, Niger State. You will work at a busy iron foundry. The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time, day shift.
