Gantry crane operator • Tift County, Georgia

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Tift County, Georgia. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift 4+ years on the tools preferred.
