Brick and block layer wanted in Buji

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Buji, Jigawa State. The job is at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 4+ years on the tools preferred.
