Now hiring: general labourer (Cross River State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a general labourer in Ikom, Cross River State. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Overtime paid at a premium rate.
