Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Oldham County, Texas. Day to day you will check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
