Day-to-day duties: • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates You should have: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • A good head for heights and steady balance Full-time, day shift.
