Packaging machine operator • Oguta, Imo State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Oguta, Imo State. The job is at an injection moulding unit. Day to day you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Rotating shifts.
