Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Morgan County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
