Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Floyd County, Georgia. The role involves keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
