Gantry crane operator wanted in Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Johnson County, Texas. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control.
