Carpenter — Donga

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Donga, Taraba State. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
