Vacancy available: gardener (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Val Verde County, Texas. The job is on a golf course. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn Six days a week, one day off.
