Immediate opening: vertical milling machine operator (Nasarawa State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Awe, Nasarawa State. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around ₦270,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
