Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Fayette County, Texas. The job is on a road construction project. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain On the job you will handle: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
