Join our team: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Thomas County, Nebraska. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day to day you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control.
