Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Sumner County, Kansas. You will work in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Full-time, day shift.
