Canteen cook — Saki West

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Saki West, Oyo State. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate The role involves label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦60,000 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
