Garden maintenance worker — Aransas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Aransas County, Texas. The job is in a botanical garden. Day to day you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
