Backhoe operator — Kanam

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Kanam, Plateau State. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site You will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient.
