Plant operator wanted in Bedford

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Bedford, England. You will work at a road and highway construction project. The role involves lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat We offer £1,900 per month plus benefits.
