Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in McPherson County, Nebraska. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day-to-day duties: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Part-time with flexible hours. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
