Join our team: fabricator-welder (Taraba State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ibi, Taraba State. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
