Counter butcher wanted in Holmes County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Holmes County, Florida. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
